COSMOS

I was invited as a speaker in “Las Charlas de Cosmos”, a live-streamed outreach event organized by the COSMOS community, one of the largest Spanish-speaking astronomy groups worldwide, with more than 2.4 million followers on Facebook and over 2,000 subscribers on YouTube.

In this session, titled “Explorando el Cosmos: La Estructura del Universo”, I presented an overview of how cosmologists study the large-scale structure of the universe, sharing insights into galaxy surveys and the cosmic web. The event was broadcast live through ICF-UNAM’s Facebook page and the COSMOS group, reaching a broad and diverse audience across Latin America and beyond.

This invitation not only highlighted the importance of connecting frontier research with society but also emphasized the value of science communication in Spanish to inspire the next generation of astronomers and cosmologists.
